All remainingassays relates for the aint no mountain high enough gathers hole have now been received and the Company is pleased toreport the following highlights:- The 32.7 metre intersection of massive and semi-massive sulphidesinitially reported on the December 1, 2008 press release as grading 2.05%copper and 6.57% zinc has been extended by an additional 21 metres ofmineralization grading 1.61% copper, 2.27% zinc and 58.8 g/t silver. Thecombined massive and stringer sulphide intersection, which begins at459.7 metres down the hole, now represents 53.7 metres of continuous zincand copper mineralization for the West Lens (Figure 1) grading 1.88%copper, 4.89% zinc, 0.39 g/t gold and 69.5 g/t silver;- The entire West Lens stringer zone, beginning at 479m down the hole, has now been extended to a depth of 609 metres for a total stringerenvelope of 130 metres, including a previously unreported 74.2m envelopestarting at 534.8m and averaging 0.83% copper, 1.99% zinc, 0.34 g/t goldand 27.6 g/t silver;- Strongly anomalous gold values are found throughout the West Lensstringer zone, including a one metre section grading 14.5 g/t gold at 600metres;- Two pyrite-rich sulphide zones over core lengths of 7.7 metres (631.3mto 639.1m) and 3.6 metres (661.5m to 665.1m) are strongly anomalous inzinc, grading 3.7% and 7.3% zinc respectively. These pyrite-rich horizonshave not been correlated with any of the other known major mineralizedhorizons on the Scott Lake project; and- The new massive sulphide lens ("1750 Lens") discovered with hole SC-28(see press release of September 10, 2008) was confirmed and extended inarea by hole SC-34. Hole SC-34 lies 150 metres to the west and down-dipof SC-28 (Figure 2). This intersection graded 0.30% copper, 6.00% zinc,0.23 g/t gold and 26.3 g/t silver over a core length of 12.4 metres, which included 3.1 metres of barren dyke at zero grade.A schematic diagram showing the trace of hole SC-34 is presented on theattached Figure 3 with the Company's current interpretation of thevarious styles of mineralization encountered in hole SC-34. In essence, hole SC-34 cored five separate massive sulphide horizons. Each horizonrepresents a distinct period of "Black Smoker" type massive sulphideaccumulation onto a former seafloor.
The extensive stringer zone whichalmost links the West Lens with the 1750 Lens represents a "feeder vent"structure through which mineralizing fluids circulated to transport thevarious metals to individual massive sulphide horizons . It is a rare occurrence inexploration to hit, in the same hole, no less than five distinct massivesulphide lenses, in addition to spectacular envelopes of stringersulphides with grades that potentially are of real economic interest.Core angles in massive sulphides are generally high, suggesting holeSC-34 intersected an area of multiple stacked horizons in an activevolcanic environment baby love . Holes SC-34 and SC-30, located approximately 225metres apart, both had high copper grades, suggesting the newlydiscovered upper part of the West Lens may represent a substantialaccumulation of proximal high grade massive sulphides that still remainsopen to the east and to the west."Despite the current negative capital and commodity market conditions,Company management has determined that these results are sufficientlyimpressive so as to necessitate an aggressive winter drill program tocontinue to develop its understanding of the Scott Lake system chain reaction . TheCompany plans to drill an additional 4,000 metres over 7 holes in thefirst quarter of 2009 to test extensions of SC-30 and SC-34. Drillingresumed at Scott Lake with one machine on January 7, 2009.Work is carried out by the personnel of Cogitore Resources Inc., underthe supervision of GTrald Riverin, PhD, P.Geo. He is a qualified person(as defined by National Instrument 43-101) and has more than 31 years ofexperience in mineral exploration. The drill core from hole SC-34 was logged and marked up for assay at theCompany's secure facility in Chibougamau, Quebec Drill core for assaywas split in half.
Half of the core was shipped in sample bags to the ALSChemex laboratory in Val d'Or, PQ for specific gravity measurement andsample preparation Pulps were flown to Vancouver, B.C . for analysis withappropriate standards, duplicates and replicates used for quality controlpurposes come see about me . The other half of the core is retained for future reference.Cogitore explores for VMS-type deposits in areas where such deposits havebeen found and mined before diana roos . Exploring in such areas is preferred becauseof existing infrastructure, knowledgeable local workforces and broadpublic support for mining .
