The season opener loss to Alabama at Georgia after keeping the game real neck and neck till the third quarter(..even staying 1 point ahead of Alabama till the third quarter..) and losing the plot in the 4th ending up to lose 34-24.Then going to Georgia again and losing to Georgia Tech 28-23 to the old school triple option and losing in Blacksburg to UNC 20-17(the first home loss since a loss to Boston College in 2007..when Matt Ryan had the last minute touchdown..) when Ryan Williams the star player of the year lost the ball and handed UNC a win.Of course there is the silver lining with games like Boston College and Maryland which were complete blowouts and Beamerdidn't pile up the humiliation for these teams by running up the score . A freshman RB running for almost 100 yards a game looks like a future Heisman contender.The season is about to draw to a close with 2 games left A home game against NC state and an away game with UVA bluegrass band . Now we are not going to play in a BCS bowl game but might end up in the Chick-fil-A,Gator,Champs Sports,Music City,Meineke Car Care,Emerald,Eaglebank,GMAC bowls.Stayingloss-less ensures an appearance in the slightly respectable bowls like Chick-fil-A or Gator bowl bluegrass gospel . Sure 2-3 teams in the top 15 COULD potentially lose and cause upsets but surely not 6-7 teams The odds are against Tech bluegrass tab .
